Mapping the feedback landscape: a systematic review of research on feedback sources, methods, and technologies in preservice teacher education
Frontiers in Education, 10, 1657737
I research how feedback, flipped classrooms, and project-based learning shape STEM education, and bring that same design thinking from my years as an AWS Lead Trainer in cloud computing and AI-powered tools.
I'm a Ph.D. student in Instructional Technology, researching how feedback, motivation, and flipped project-based learning environments shape student outcomes in STEM and computer science education.
My research explores flipped, project-based classrooms in undergraduate computer science and cyber-aerial computing courses, examining peer support, higher-order thinking, and how instructional design choices affect motivation and learning. This work has been published and presented at venues including Frontiers in Education and the ASEE Annual Conference & Exposition.
Before returning to research, I spent years as an AWS Lead Trainer and re/Start Coordinator, training the next generation of cloud practitioners in AWS, Linux, and cloud computing fundamentals. That hands-on technical background now shapes how I design and study technology-enhanced learning, and I stay active with AI-powered tools in both my teaching and research workflows.
